Recommendation for מאחרי הדבש in kfar chabad. I Took my 2 and 4.5 yo – got there at 10am and left at 2.30. They put you in a group – no need to book. Not sure how often the tours run but there is a Gymboree for the waiting period. Well organized, hands on activities, efficient staff, great Gymboree for my ages- but there were kids of all ages in there. KLP snacks for sale. Covered Tables and benches to have lunch at. Would recommend getting there early… enjoy!

Hi we visited here on succot and had a brilliant day out with the kids (3 and 1.5), really recommend it. BUT ladies … Dress modestly, it is an extremely religious black hat community that visits and I was not dressed appropriately and felt very uncomfortable

4 year old boy, we didn’t even understand the performances/shows in Hebrew but the actor and animation was so good it didn’t matter. Kids (& adults) loved. Also Made pitas, beeswax candles, took tractor ride (could miss), and used great play area with inflated slides and much more. Great trip

We had a fantastic day today with our 5, 2 and 1 1/2 year olds in Maachorei Hadavash in Kfar Chabad, tour included seeing how the bees were made, making candles, a couple of very good shows and a large gymboree – well recommended and not expensive! They also had tractor riding and pony riding for a little extra. There is a very nice picnic area and everything is shaded. Have a look at the link -also to know its 3 mins walk from Kfar Chabad station and lots of parking around if you get there early!

We took our 3 and 5 year olds there on Sunday and had a really good time. Its well organized, educational and fun. If you are looking for a more scientific explanation to the “why” questions than ‘Mah Rabu Ma’asecha Hashem’ – then not the place for you. Dragging kids away after almost 4 hours though is a good sign! And I love honeycomb..

Had a fantastic day with 3 of my kids (aged 4-8) at M’Achorai Hadvash (BeeDvash) in Kfar Chabad, 30mins from Raanana, 15mins from Modi’in. They were kept entertained for hours – workshops were educational, with fun engaging games, a show, candle-making and meeting the bee-keeper. All indoors, good for all year round. Excellent gymboree, other extras including making pita and tractor rides. Sandwiches available or bring your own food – 2 NIS hot drinks for parents and ice lollies for kids – recommended!

it’s an experiential way for kids (and adults!)to learn everything about bees and honey through games, a performance, a movie, and a lot more. Very worthwhile and nicely done.
