“I spent a night at Cramim a few weeks ago to celebrate a friend’s 40th and it was heavenly!! The food was some of the best I have ever eaten (had dinner and breakfast). The place is absolutely beautiful with the most stunning indoor pool I have ever seen. I didn’t have a massage but my friends that did were very happy. This place deserves the 5+ stars rating and definitely belongs in the ‘exclusive collection’. Highly recommended!”

LoveLoveIsrael Review
We wanted to find an amazing getaway so we tried out the newest, highest class spa resort in Israel: The Isrotel Cramim Resort and Spa. It lived up to our expectations and more.
This is one for the adults; there are no children under 10 allowed – if you’re looking for a luxurious getaway without young family – that’s a plus.
Cramim translates as ‘Vineyards’ and as you drive up a hill overlooking Jerusalem, you feel the tranquility wash over you – the air is amazing and the grounds as you arrive are kept exquisitely. On arrival and throughout our stay, staff were all polite, helpful and attentive.
The Vineyards theme is ever present – from the wine used in some of the spa treatments, to the wine menu at meals (including a “breakfast wine”!) to the unique warm smell of the resort and the wine scented complimentary toiletries in the room. The color scheme plays up the deep purple of a nice glass of red. Attention to detail with both the décor and the service was impressive.
The ultra-modern rooms are spacious, comfortable and well-appointed, with a great views of the Jerusalem hills afforded to most rooms, fully equipped with a flat screen TV and Nespresso machine and coffee capsules, an iron, safe and minibar. Bringing us complimentary chocolates just after we got our room was a nice touch giving the luxury feel.
The lobby will bring you milk/ice upon request and there was even a pillow menu – literally a list of pillows to choose to ensure your best night’s sleep – again, a classy touch.
You can have use of the spa for full days – i.e. before you have your room (which was only at 3pm, although it’s worth asking if they can advise you when it becomes ready and they’ll SMS you to tell you when it is) until well after you check out (12pm) but they looked after our things, and you have lockers and full facilities in the spa.
The indoor pool was a great size, beautifully designed, tranquil and calm and there are nice well-kept grounds around the outdoor pool area for lounging about.
The treatment area is on a separate floor – you enter an elevator and the atmosphere changes. It’s super quiet, with teas, snacks and special cocktails on tap. The treatments we had were amazing and so worthwhile to add to the whole experience. Staff were helpful in advising which to do – but it is advisable to book well in advance of your stay as they fill up quickly. We made some changes to our treatments on site and they were very accommodating with moving times and changing details.
Another fun twist to the wine theme was the wine tasting – every couple of hours you can go to the winery boutique to learn about wines and of course have a good tasting! You can request this in English if you give them enough notice.
The restaurant is very impressive – very gourmet/chef restaurant and everything was delicious. We especially loved choosing ingredients for a Chinese sirloin stir fry freshly made in front of us. Even the desserts which were obviously Parev, were very tasty. It is unusual to be able to sample so much gourmet food in a buffet like that – we were truly full! Breakfast was very elegant and tasty and filled us up until the afternoon. The great thing here is that breakfast runs until 12:30pm – they know people are there to rest and it means no rushing to make it for breakfast.
Having returned now, life is back to normal, but we won’t forget this heavenly stay! Highly recommend it – you always wait for occasions to do special things like this, but I say, go for it – we all deserve to spoil ourselves sometimes – and why not do it in style!
