They invite Seminaries, Yeshivas, private tour groups and missions to assist us in picking the olives during picking season. The season usually lasts from October through November. They have very limited space available so please sign up early!
Each picking session, either morning or afternoon shift, lasts 3 to 4 hours. After a short orientation with our guides, you will be taken to the local groves to pick for about one hour. You will then have a short break for some refreshments and listen to a fascinating explanation of the Torah laws related to picking and making olive oil. In most cases you will be able to watch us produce the oil from the olives you picked on our own portable olive press!
