“Went to Zanzibar in Basra – today – go!! Open 8.30-15.00 35nis/child 15nis/up to a year 10nis/adult – includes free coffee. Would say it’s suitable for kids up to the age of ten or so -maybe less. The kids 5 and 1.4 had the best time – there’s a cowshed, and the usual farm animals hanging about-all in surprisingly good condition. It’s clean and looked after. Small petting area with little bunnies. The baby donkeys were an attraction-plus donkey rides available for 10 nis. Bouncy castles, water slide, ball pool and they’ll place a small paddling pool by your table so your kids can splash about. The area is well shaded, and you can get drinks and ice creams on the spot. There’s also a shaded area for arts and crafts. There are little cars for toddlers and four wheeled bikes for the older kids . We were there from 9-12 – it got busy by the end but somehow didn’t feel like it was. Highly recommend.” (2011)
